Advent is the four weeks leading up to Christmas. During Advent, we will be exploring how each of the Gospel authors introduces Jesus. Matthew and Luke have traditional images of the Nativity that we think of at Christmas, but they each also focus on very different things. Mark starts his story when Jesus is an adult. John has language of Light and the Word but nothing about a baby. Why are they so different? The Sunday Advent Services can be found on this website under Sermons, or on Youtube or Facebook.

Outreach Bags: We have created 100 bags filled with 24 activities and crafts to help us focus on the true meaning of Christmas. These bags will be available at the Covid-Holiday Store and Movie Night for Community and Church Members to pick up.
Blue Christmas Service Christmas is often a time where many struggle with anxiety and depression, and this year more than ever. On the darkest day of the year, December 21st we will be having a special service. We will name these feelings and cry out to God.
Digital Christmas Eve Service: There will be a beautiful Christmas Eve digital Service that will be available on this website, Facebook and Youtube.
In Person Christmas Eve Experience: To safely provide for a special in person Christmas Eve experience, there will be a beautiful Christmas Lights and Electric Candlelight Prayer Walk. There will be outdoor prayer stations that families or individuals walk through that finish at the nativity in the courtyard. There is nothing to touch, masks are required and it will be beautiful and very meaningful. It would be from 7-10pm so that we could ensure social distancing. Christmas Music will be playing through speakers and Pastor Arlo will be available to pray with people from a safe distance.
Secret Magi/12 Days of Christmas We love connecting with each other during 12 Days of Christmas but it is not safe for us to gather at each other’s houses this year. So instead we are doing “Secret Magi” which is essentially Secret Santa but following Christmas for 12 days until Epiphany. Anyone who wants to participate should fill out the following form asking about things they like, dislike, address… then mail that form to the church (by December 10th) so that their form can then be shared with another person who is participating so they can send postcards or drop off goodies on their doorstep…it will be a fun way to cheer people up and feel connected during this trying time.
